Sociology is rarely as interesting as it is in this book. Strauss and
Howe put forth the theory that generations run in cycles, have specific
identities, and influence one another-and that the way they interact
with each other and react to the world at large is the primary shaping
factor in our nation's history. While interesting to look through
simply to see your own generation's cohorts, the book is eerily
persuading. and its predictions since its publication in 1991 have begun
to come true. - Anonymous
