The New Father's Panic Book by Gene B. Williams

Mr. Williams, a gifted writer, has blessed us yet again with his insight into fatherhood. I very much enjoyed this handbook and for those of you who want to become a daddy, I highly recommend you take the time to read it. To those of you male or female who may already be a mom or dad, it's a must read for you also as it is just excellent stuff to know. Thank you Mr. Williams for writing such a fine, easy to read resource.

The Magazine Article : How to Think It, Plan It, Write It by Peter P. Jacobi

Have you ever thought that you might like to write for publication? You will find no better guide than this book, written by the publishing industry's premier authority on magazine editing.

Peter Jacobi teaches magazine journalism full-time, both to college students and to professional journalists. In print as in person, he is inspirational, informative, authoritative, and precise. This book contains a wealth of ideas for article structure, tone, presentation style, and content. As readable as a novel, The Magazine Article informs as it entertains. Abundant samples from dozens of magazines reinforce and illustrate each point.

If you would like to break into the world of writing--or if you are already an accomplished writer or editor--you will find much to like in The Magazine Article. From interviewing techniques to lead writing, from article structure to fact-checking, Jacobi is the master. - J.D. HIldebrand
